Funding the World We Want! Meet Catherine Bracy in Conversation with Lisha Bell

Let's make new forms of capital available for the kinds of companies we wish existed! Join us to learn how these investments work with author and civic technologist, Catherine Bracy.

Catherine will join Venture Capital expert Lisha Bell to unpack why the current system isn’t working and how we can build funding models to serve our communities and the planet.

Catherine will share insights from her upcoming book, World Eaters: How Venture Capital is Cannibalizing the Economy, while Lisha draws on her experience leading PayPal’s $500M Economic Opportunity Fund and co-founding BLXVC, a collective backing women of color. Together, we will dig into what it means to create lasting change with better financial tools.

Dinner will be prepared by Lalita Kaewsawang, chef of Hanloh Thai Food.

Please RSVP by June 8th. Space is limited—if you commit, please plan to attend.
